Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are applicable every time you access our website and/ or order goods from our website. Before proceeding with an order please make sure that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your future reference.
1. Ownership
1.1 All rights in this website are owned by Quinte
scents. Any unauthorised use, copying or modification is prohibited.
1.2 You are expressly not permitted to download any part of our site to amend or modify it or any part of it, to reproduce or copy, sell or otherwise exploit our website (or any part of it) for any purpose other than as set out below, nor are you permitted to frame our website or to link to any element of it.
2. Ordering Goods
2.1 All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order.
2.2 When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a confirmatory email of this order saying that we are processing your order, this email does not constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we dispatch the goods to you.
2.3 Should you wish to return/ exchange any goods, please go to the Returns Policy below for further information.
3. Order Acceptance
3.1 Your order will be accepted by us, and a contract will then be formed between us when we dispatch the goods to you.
3.2 Orders cannot be cancelled once we dispatch the goods to you, please go to the Returns Policy below for further information.
4. Processing your orders and payment
4.1 All orders will be processed through Paypal.
4.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.
5. Delivery
5.1 All UK and European mainland orders are delivered at a fixed rate of £3.95.
5.2 We usually do not deliver outside of the UK and Europe but if you contact us we can arrange worldwide delivery
5.3 Some postal addresses may not be covered by our delivery services and we may not be able to arrange delivery of some items to such addresses. You will be notified of this before the order is accepted.
5.4 Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within a specific time scale, we cannot guarantee delivery or accept liability for deliveries made outside this time scale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
5.5 All items are subject to stock availability.
5.6 When we deliver your items to you may be asked to sign for the goods to acknowledge that you have received them.
6. Returns
6.1 Notification of return must be made by email to:

6.2 A completed Return Form must be included with the goods along with the original copy of the receipt for the return postage cost.
6.3 All returns must be made via the Post Office.
6.4 You must complete and retain the Certificate of Postage (available at Post Office) until the refund is processed.
6.5 Any postage and handling cost associated with returns/ exchanges is the responsibility of the customer, unless the products were incorrect or delivered in a damages state.
6.6 Once the return has been approved you will be notified via email and refunded the product price and return delivery price or allowed to exchange the product
6.7 If the product you wish to exchange the returned product for has a lower price we will refund you with the difference, if it has a higher price you will be required to settle the cost
6.8 Refunds and settlement costs will be made via Paypal
6.9.1All returns require up to 14 days to be processed
6.9.2 If you return any item to us outside the terms of our returns policy, we will not refund you. The item may be returned back to you at your expense. You will be notified of this and other associated charges. If you send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed to be an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice.
7 Acceptable Returns
7.1 Goods which are not of satisfactory quality due to an inherent fault (manufacturing defect) or damaged during delivery or even not as described due to an error made on our behalf, may be returned for a full refund, exchange or store credit.
7.2 Unsatisfactory items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with the completed Returns Form within 7 days of receipt.
7.3 If you return any item to us outside the terms of our returns policy, we will not refund you. The item may be returned back to you at your expense. You will be notified of this and other associated charges. If you send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed to be an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice.
8 Unacceptable Returns
8.1 We cannot issue returns on any 'un-wanted' items of jewellery and clothing due to hygiene reasons.
8.2 All other un-wanted items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with the completed Returns Form within 7 days of receipt.
8.3 If you return any item to us outside the terms of our returns policy, we will not refund you. The item may be returned back to you at your expense. You will be notified of this and other associated charges. If you send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed to be an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice.
9 Order Cancellations
9.1 You have the right to cancel your order for any reason.
9.2 Cancellations can only be made however, before the contract is formed and the order is accepted and dispatched to you, please go to 'section 2. Ordering Goods for further information.
Privacy Policy
Quintescents is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only store, use and disclose the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We do not collect any personal data from you without your knowledge and will only be used for the fulfilment of your order or enquiry. We do not hold your credit/debit card information on our web-server and any personal information we do hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
Please note that by sending us your order, you agree to us using your personal details in order to supply the goods to you (which may involve passing them on to relevant third parties such as delivery firms).
